The Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre and Sun Bear Conservation Centre in Sandakan Sabah is fast becoming a tourist destination in this part of the State. This is due to the environmental conservation awareness that is being promoted extensively to ensure against extinction of certain endangered species, whether it is flora or fauna.
Travellers no matter where they come from will need a place to rest in comfort after watching the ‘wild side’ of the area. The Nature Lodge Sepilok serves this need, as it is located in the heart of Sepilok area and it is only 15 min walk to Orang Utan Rehabilitation centre and Sun Bear conservation Centre and five minutes’ walk to Rainforest Discovery Centre.
Nature Lodge Sepilok which started operation in May 2016 has six units of chalet and 32 dormitory beds which overall can accommodate 44 guests. So if you are going in a group they can serve you well.
This latest addition to accomodations in this area serves a daily simple breakfast and a la carte menu to cater lunch or dinner, with capacity of 30 paxs.
